Raised as a missionary kid in Asia, Beverly found her entertainment in books because television was not a part of their lives.  She discovered Janette Oke at a young age and a love for the inspirational romance genre took root in her heart.

To date she has completed seven manuscripts and has one published novel.  Writing time was limited for a season when the Lord blessed her and her husband with twins in 2000.  They joined an older sister, and with three children, Beverly found that her writing took a back seat to childrearing.

In 2005, with all three children in school, Beverly found a little more time for writing.  Her husband is now a full-time pastor and church ministries also take up some of her time.  She has also been able to take on a part-time job doing office work for her brother's company.  All in all, life is anything but dull.

In addition to reading and writing, Beverly enjoys cooking and baking, and doing the odd cross-stitch project.  Her latest venture is trying her hand at drawing pencil portraits.  They aren't turning out quite like she'd hoped, but as with writing--perseverance and practice are the key.

Whatsoever you do, in word or in deed, do all for the glory of God.
